Case Study: Rebranding & designing a menu system for “The Library Coffee House.”

This logo features a custom logotype that consists of aged textures and gothic styles found in dark academia aesthetics.

The Library Coffee House has been a local’s favorite and is one of the oldest coffee places in Long Beach, CA. It’s original interior of eclectic design and cozy library aesthetic invites college students and old friends to “drink a cup of Joe, or just to read a book.”

  • Demographic: All age groups welcome with a focus on groups 18 years of age and older.

  • Market: Local’s, college students, and old friends. This place is also for anyone who wants to be transported to a gothic professor’s lair and fantasize about being the main character in a dramatic novel.

  • Goal: The new logo and menu systems should feel inviting while also aesthetically unique to the dark academic interior. The customers should feel like they are apart of an experience while also clearly being able to understand the contents of the menu system.
